This evening BBC2 showed a Horizon documentary called: Don't Grow Old

It was above average, compared to their recent output - so worth checking out (or showing to potential converts).

It featured some of the 'usual suspects'...
  • David Sinclair on Sirtuins
  • Bill Andrews on Telomerase (and on using TA65)
  • Nir Barzilai on genes for longevity in Ashkenazi Jews
  • Rochelle Buffenstein on naked mole rats
  • etc
It will be repeated on BBC1 (UK) on Tuesday 9th Feb 02:50

Also is available on iPlayer (UK) http://www.bbc.co.uk...rammes/b00qm7zr (available for 2 months)

It may be available on SeeSaw, but you would need to have access to a beta account. I don't, so have not been able to check.

I have given up looking for a torrent, but will have another look tomorrow.

Regards

LC

Thx but you can not use the link it if you are outside the UK. Is there another way to see it online?

This is a great documentary, I'm glad to see that it was posted already. I'm not sure as to how to access it if you are outside of the UK- possibly 1kgcoffee could share?

I found a torrent link.

Should I post it on here, or should I just send it out by PM ?

Good stuff - really drives home how much science and not lifestyle is what's needed to recreate what those centenarians are born with. Come on science!

I have had a look and I can't find it on either BBC America or BBC World.

When the SeeSaw web site is out of beta, it should be available outside the UK, though I do not know if it will be free. I would expect this particular series to be ad supported.

Not sure if you can fool iPlayer with a UK based proxy. Has anyone tried this?

In the meantime...

There is a Torrent here:
