Reddit has a great subforum called IAmA where someone will make a post like "I am a pizza delivery driver. Ask me anything." and members of the community can ask questions.

It would be great to see an "I am signed up for cryonics". It's a good opportunity to explain the science and reasoning behind cryonics to an intelligent community. Can anyone volunteer the time to do one?

Someone wrote a cryonics AMA four months ago. I don't think it won over any fans, and any current submissions may possibly be met with Bumblebee Tuna Can comments. That said, I still have been thinking about writing an AMA for a while. However, it will coincide with the launch of my website; this will allow me to stroll in with both barrels blazing. I may go down, but it will be a glorious end.

Most certainly! I'll be advocating many organizations. There are so many things I want to help clarify

Yet again, I need to finish my project first before I spend some quality time on Reddit and elsewhere. Having videos, illustrations, music, etc will help me tremendously with not just explaining certain concepts.... but also trying to get people to act....

Also, can I convince you both to join the internetworking team? The teams around here continue to grow little by little, its all adding up and will reach critical thresholds. Some already are to certain degrees. You could work in the internetworking team across the board, or you could just focus on your Iama topics if you want. Then what you would do is each month make just, atleast, 3 contributions. That could include a lot of things. Lets say you guys have 5 different Iama's about the cause. You could get a person not familiar with that part of the cause to ask a question there, then respond to it, then create another "Iama" about the cause. Those then would count as three contributions for the month, or they could all be the same, you can mix and match it anyway you want.

So what do you say? This cause grows because of its volunteers, you volunteers inspire more volunteers, and that in turn is helping us to go viral and reach the world, and thereby give us the greatest chances to see indefinite life extension in our lifetimes. You guys in?

It's probably best if I wait until my website launches, and here's why: I'm currently not signed up with any cryonics organization. I haven't made any donations or financial transactions with any organization (Imminst, Lifeboat, Methuselah, you name it...). Heck, I've barely even had communications with anyone in this movement. This essentially makes me an independent observer, which will allow me more creativity in my website. So if there is backlash for some reason, well, everybody can say, "We have no clue who this guy is, and so we obviously don't support him!" *wink*wink*nudge*nudge*

The internetworking topics in its lists arent all directly represenative of Imminst, most are just representative of the cause in general. We encourage people to bring up imminst in the discussions if it fits in but they dont have to.

This is just a suggestion, but from your position you could consider linking us to an Iama that goes something like, "I am a life extension advocacy & research & cryonics noob working my way up absorbing the cause." or something like that.

Im with Eric in that it would be great to get a Q and A session with a devoted long time Life extension H+ person. Shannon Vyff has proven great in her ability to explain the ins of living the life extension lifestyle...we need more people who are willing to be the recipient of questions from the unaware general public. I would gladly talk about my interest and why I promote healthy life extension if you need help...anyone.
