Check off All the names that you would go for. You can vote multiple times. There are so many suggestions that this is one of 3 polls because each one can only hold 75 options.

These names dont include the second half like, Institute, Foundation, Society etc... They are included at the end of part 3 (this is part 3) of this poll. They may not even require a second half.

Any names that people feel are good that arent in this initial list can be voted in or added in to another poll when this series becomes narrowed down.

I haven't voted for any. That's a pretty dissapointing list. The above list makes me think we need to seek professional help in choosing a name.

Come on....are these taking the piss??

The teenage Mutant ninja Turtles

Bruce Kliens Private Army of Life Extensionists

Duran Duran

Maybe we are a bunch of kooks after all.

Lol the last few names are funny. brokenportal is just having a bit of fun. why keep the polls so serious here? we aren't choosing the president of U.S. If mainstream peeps think we can't even laugh and enjoy life, then they would really think we're mega-SCARY kooks from a secret society like the illuminati trying to kill off most of the pop and survive by ourselves.

so imminst actually still sounds better than most, but my fav ones were in part 1 and 2

i 2nd that. initiative sounds more active, like we're actually doing something proactively

my fav one is still something like Lifespan initiative or unlimited life initiative

Institute /institution is good too, sounds professional

Life+ is the best thing I've seen on the forums. It's short, trendy, and it's completely vanilla (so we can define our brand how we want).

I like Imminence Foundation or Society. Then we could do things with it like, "IF we dream" or "IF we all join in, then we will obtain unlimited lifespans" or "IS this it?" "IS the government supporting your lifespan enough?"

The name sounds like imminst, and has an edge to it.

"translife' was sounding good to me 'til I found a website called TransLife.net, which says:

"Since 2001, TransLife.net has been devoted to educating people on gender, identity, transgender and related issues." --I don't think that's the message we're trying to project...not that there's anything wrong with it.

Unfortunately, it appears that almost anything we can come up with has already been taken. One idea might be to use a brand new word that's an acronym for something meaningful to us.

My God, that list took way too much of my time--wondering this is it? Really? Only these?

But finally-I went with Vivify Society.com

I was surprised to see Vivify actually garnering the most points. It would go well as Vivify Foundation, or Vivify Life...

I have to agree, these names are not very good at all... (vivify maybe...but it's a bit cryptic and might fit better as a company name)
Seeking professional help in choosing the name seems like a very good idea after this list.

Besides, since "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Humans" is getting second most votes, I don't think this poll is worth much.

Howcome the words "immortal" and "immortality" at nowhere to be seen?
I agree with zoolander, the list is dissappointing, big time.

I do agree Initiative sounds neat. "Global Immortality Initiative" or something could sound cool though ;o) needs another play of words so the short term will ring better.

I think they weren't serious when they put the names there, just a little relax from the extenuous task of name picking. I don't think these should receive any votes at all because i suppose we are trying something serious here but many people apparently aren't very serious.

Yes, we should all concentrate it in one, serious thread. No silly names, those only serve for distraction.

Yeah, seriously. Don't even humor the person who suggests it... it really is a distraction.

Parts one and three have 28 votes while part 2 has 38. Im bumping these to see if any body who hasnt wants to keep voting in them. They keep my thoughts stirring on names.

Ide like to see them all get to about 60 or 70 votes and then poll the leading 20 with all the good new names suggested added, to make it a poll of maybe 50. Then Ide like to see polls 1 through 3 locked. It isn’t necessary, but I think it would be helpful in bringing about where peoples minds are most accurately at.

And on top of that this is a chaotic approach. My impression was that there was an established short-list in the members thread.

We should get consensus on the process first (which I thought there was in the members thread).

Sorry for my disappointing attitude towards this initiative, but honestly, this is becoming a mess.

Btw., I didn't vote either.

?
I dont get it. Communication is bad? Having all non members continuing to toss ideas around is bad? If you dont want to be involved in the discussion in these polls then thats fine. There are plenty of discussions around here that I dont find myself interested in being involved in too but I dont go into them and talk about how uninteresting, cluttered, digressive or whatever they may be. Do you really want the people who continue to vote and continue to discuss ideas here to stop? Maybe your right, Im just saying.

This isnt official in any way, its just a big brain storm to keep ideas flowing and growing and evolving and inspiration coming and all that stuff that think tanking and communicating does. It was then my intention, once, if, enough voted, probably 60 or 70 or so are tallied, to then combine them with all the hot new names floating around in different threads and combine them into another poll that isnt official either. If I get it in in time then I would present those results to the final vote for consideration. If I didnt get it in in time then well atleast I tried, atleast everybody tossing ideas around in here tried.

Ok, sorry, you're right on taking the initiative. I didn't look at it that way. I had the wrong assumptions.
