Great pics, Kip -- thank you for sharing these!

Bruce, you are one lucky man!

Thanks, Kip!

Thanks, Adam ;-)

Susan and I had a great time talking w/ Kip about the illusion of free will, something Kip has put to paper for award in the past, and which he may write more about in the future, asuming he has a say in the matter.

If I said "No, she is a lucky woman" would that be any less lecherous, or would that just be really gay? ;)

LOL

I had more fun talking with Bruce and Susan about free will, AI and life extension than I've had in years. It's extremely rare to find people (especially women) who find such topics interesting. But they loved it. Susan's also a lawyer, and San Francisco is beautiful, so it was overall just an amazing experience for me.

Hmm, neither! Let's just say it, Susan is a lucky woman! It might help balance it all out a bit, all these guys could give Bruce a complex of some sort. [tung] j/k, great pictures, San Francisco looks really warm. :)

Great pics! I'd love to come down and chill with you guys on any given sunday (my only OFF day) I'd be willing to drive from LA to SF. Are there any future weekend get-togethers planned ahead? So far I haven't met a single transhumanist in real life...

Braz, as a start, perhaps join this list (headed by Michael Anissimov) for meeting updates in the Bay Area: http://www.transhuma...istinfo/batrans

I think Michael Anissimov might be a true genius. I got the chance to meet him at the last transhumanism meeting he organized -- incidentally, that was the same time I got a chance to meet Dr. Aubrey de Grey, Dr. Ben Goertzel...Bruce and Susan too (along with several others whose names I do not recall except for the dude with the user name "nanomatrix")! Lots of fun!

Here's a funny pic from that meeting I found on Michael's blog...you can tell both dudes had a bit to drink...cheers!
