I thought this was cool. The robot is designed for use within the intense magnetic field of an MRI, so it contains no metallic parts apart from a titanium biopsy needle. Just fiber optics, air, plastic, ceramics and rubber.  (Click here for bigger picture) Funny quote from the medgadget site: "In addition to claustrophobia in the tunnel, patients will now experience the joy of a creeping robot with a penetrating power, all the way to the prostate."
