A VCS test is available at http://www.usd.edu/coglab/CSFIntro.htm

My results were

frequency (cycles/degree) sensitivity (arb units)
4...........................................165.51
8...........................................370.06
16.........................................210.47
32.........................................160.82
64...........................................76.498

For some reason my peak was in a different location than the graph they copied from a 1992 article. My peak did however match that found in Ritchie Shoemaker's papers. eg.

Oddly, when I took Shoemaker's own $15 test, I had no peak at all.

frequency (cycles/degree) sensitivity (arb units)
1.5..........................................128
3.............................................128
6.............................................128
12.............................................64
18.............................................32 (average of 43 left eye, 21 right eye)

(His test results don't actually include sensitivities. They just say if you test positive for a VCS deficit and show you the trials you failed. His papers give the sensitivities required to pass some of the trials, and I estimated the rest from his statement that the sensitivities are in approximately log 0.15 increments.)

Trials Passed Sensitivity
9..........................160
8..........................128
7............................90
6............................64
5............................43
4............................30
3............................21
2............................15
1............................10

His Mold Warriors book has a graph in which that healthy controls score (my approximate readings from the graph)

frequency (cycles/degree) sensitivity (arb units)
1.5............................................80
3.............................................126
6.............................................133
12.............................................67
18.............................................27

My 1.5 cycles/degree sensitivity must be a fluke, because you only get a monotonic curve under light conditions so dim that you don't get color.
