I have certain symtpms that might be MS. I use Vitacost curcumin with Bioperine.(piperine.) I use two grams a day, and up to 7 grams for a few days when symptoms flare up.

Google "curcumin MS" for some experiments with rats.

I have found that this nips the flareup in the bud.

Please do a Google search for "Kalawalla MS".
I have started taking it for psoriasis and it seems to help.
There are other testimonials that seem to indicate help with MS.

Please check out the website of the myelin project. Myelin sheaths are like in insulators around nerve cell lines just like communication cables and electrical wiring requires insulation. Lorenzo's oil (a combination of extracts from olive oil and rapeseed) is said to help stop de-myelination. The project aims to find
a method of re-myelination and from the looks of things supporting this project could be very benefical for life extension.

I have also found some pubmed articles on the effects of acetyl-l-carnitine on the myelin sheath:

My Cousin that is only 24 has MS too, just found out about two years ago. Unfortunately he doesn't want to hear about things that could help his situation. Just what the doctor gives him.

If ALCAR helps as Caston mentioned above, ALCA may
well be more effective.

After much controversy a considerable body of evidence now demonstrates a causal connection between chronic infection with the primary respiratory pathogen Chlamydophila (Chlamydia) pneumoniae and at least some variants of the neurological disease Multiple Sclerosis. These web-pages review the evidence. References are cited.

Treatment of chronic infection with this organism is regarded as highly problematic. Some authorities claim that total eradication is not possible. These pages suggest a possible schedule of treatment which may be expected to address all phases of the organism's life-cycle.

Here's something interesting. Kalawalla and Heliocare (provides systemic UV protection) are both Polypodium leucotomos extract.
