Barack Obama has been dishonest... has lied... about his relationship with William Ayers.

He has been dishonest about Jeremiah Wright. Do you really think he wasn't sitting in on *any* of Rev. Wright's infamous hateful, racist, anti-American sermons? Do you really think his views haven't been influenced by his spiritual mentor's views after twenty years in the pews? When Barack Obama has said in his book, and in speeches thereafter that "White man's greed run's a world in need"- doesn't this of remind you something? ...

"Barack knows what it means to be a black man living in a country and a culture ruled by rich white people!", or "US of KKK A", or "The government gives them the guns, builds bigger prisons, passes the three strike law, and then wants us to say 'God Bless America'? Naw naw naw, not 'God Bless America'. GOD D... AMERICA! GOD D... AMERICA!!" *cheers from the church*

Have you heard some of William Ayers anti-American views as a terrorist, and those of his terrorist cell Weather Underground? How he would do it all again, wished he had done more, wished that more damage had been done on 9/11? Why did William Ayers trust Obama so much, if their views weren't compatible on some level? Obama is trying to say he didn't know about Ayer's terrorism, or that he didn't know Ayers was unrepentant about his terroristic acts, if that were the case, which I don't believe, would he show the same lack of judgment and discernment in forming his relationships as the president of our country? I think we already know the answer to that question given Barack Obama's involvement in the violent islamist campaign of Raila Odinga, a controversial Kenyan leader for whom Sen. Barack Obama not only campaigned, but raised almost $1 million during the run-up to that nation's 2007 presidential election, who had concluded a written agreement with Muslim leaders stipulating that, if they delivered him the Muslim vote, he would in turn, once elected, convert Kenya into an Islamic state governed by Shariah law, protect terrorists from prosecution, and effectively ban Christianity.

It would be one thing if these were isolated incidents, but Barack Obama has deep, long running pattern of associating with anti-American extremists, racists, and terrorists.

Does this pattern of associations and dishonesty not affect your perception of Obama at all?

We also know that Barack Obama had a strong affinity for Marxist ideology, marxist philosophy of government, marxist professors, marxist and communist student groups in college, attended socialist conferences, had close personal relationships with communists such as Frank Marshall Davis, subscribes to a marxist theology, and he has spoken his communist/marxist views in public in many instances, most recently in telling Joe the plumber he wants to "Spread the wealth around".

Compare Obama's philosophy to people like Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln:

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government." -- Thomas Jefferson

"Property is the fruit of labor; property is desirable; it is a positive good in the world. Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another, but let him work diligently and build one for him self" - Abraham Lincoln

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." -- Thomas Jefferson

Does it not bother you at all that Obama spits in the face of the great thinkers that founded and built this country?

What about his marxist/communist views? Are those a conspiracy?

Was Joe the plumber a doctored tape? Did I fake the quotes by Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln- or wait- maybe they never even existed!

That's right... they must have been invented by those "extreme conservatives" ^_^

"He's got a confederate tattoo on his arm. He strolled into our headquarters...saying Obama was the only person who made any sense to him...."

October 20, 2008 at 1:18 pm
It comes with a dispatch from North Carolina Field Hand Mark Tyson, in the western mountain region:

The guy who created these signs is named Clinton Slagle. He's got a confederate tattoo on his arm. He strolled into our headquarters back during the primary looking for a sign, saying Obama was the only person who made any sense to him....

Mark adds:

In the meantime, we're still focusing on early voting. I'm tracking our local early turnout numbers vs overall turnout in 2004 for Swain County. My private target is 50% early vote vs 2004 overall, and so far, we're tracking slightly ahead of the pace needed to hit that. We'll see....

NCDem at DKos sees a potential for banking as much as half the North Carolina vote prior to Election Day:

I predict that we will approach the 70% mark in total votes, which will be a huge destruction of previous marks. I'll also predict that we have almost 50% of the total votes completed before November 4th.

And early voting is now spreading to other swing states. From Chuck Todd and company at NBC:

Over the weekend two states -- Texas and Nevada -- started voting without excuse. And today, voters in seven more states -- including battlegrounds Colorado (where Palin is today) and Florida (where Obama and Hillary Clinton are together) -- can go to the polls. Also, Nevada political guru Jon Ralston noted that the early-voting returns in his state seem to be in Dems' favor. "Of the 25,000-plus who voted early, 15,644 were Democrats and 5,721 were Republicans, according to Clark County Election Department records. If that trends holds, this won't be a wave; it'll be a tsunami. Republicans had a lead on the first day of mail ballot tallying -- 5,407 to 4,947. So overall, it's 20,591 to 11,128."

Ben Smith notes - and it's true - that Democrats always boast about early voting, citing a 2004 Las Vegas Review News story:

In Clark County, Democrats voted in greater numbers than Republicans on each of the first three days of the 14-day early voting period. Overall, Democrats had a lead of 2,104 voters.

Democrats increased turnout on each of the days, edging Republicans 45 to 41 percent Saturday, 45 to 40 percent Sunday and 46 to 40 percent Monday.

I'm surprised, though, that the usually observant Smith missed two illuminating points:

1. The statistically signficant gap between the '04 numbers in Clark County and the '08 numbers today: Democrats have gone from 45 percent of ballots cast by Democratic voters on the first two days of early voting four years ago to 62 percent on Saturday and Sunday. That's a Democratic advance of 40 percent over its '04 numbers. And GOP voters don't seem to be too motivated in Greater Vegas: they went from 40.5 percent of ballots cast in the first two days of '04 to just 23 percent this past weekend (apparently Palin has not, contrary to the spin, "fired up the base" in that part of the country; maybe it's not "pro-American" enough, Governor?). And with Democrats tied with Republicans in Clark County absentee ballots - that's the senior citizen population, mainly, where McCain does better on paper - I'd agree with Ralston's sense that there's an upset brewing in Nevada.

I don't think anyone, even Obama wants to shit in his own bowl. However Obama thinks our bowl is shitty now, and wants to "change" it. My fear is that because of his marxist, and socialist leanings, he will change it for the worse. Not just him either, that includes the rest of the Democrats.

Yeah, it's you.

Iam Empathy, I see that you have a tendency to not even address the meat of the threads but strictly adhere to the workings of "he did this; oh no but they did this". I would like to see you actually comment on any of what this thread pertains to.

I don't know about you, but I didn't see Sarah Palin or John McCains' mentioned at all in the opening post... In fact, Obama was the one being referenced to and in your reply to the first post of the thread, you didn't mention Obama's name or anything relevant to Obama.

The quotes which were listed were beautiful IMO; I only wish I would have thought of them! :|?
