The National Academy of Sciences has a survey they’d like people to fill out to help them figure out what kinds of educational materials about science, engineering, and medicine they should publish in print and on the web. It's quick and painless and points to some helpful pdf's along the way!

Find the survey here

Also, if you would like to have your face on the cover of New Scientist's next magazine and help the progession of science, see here

Pretty simple survey, only took 30 seconds for me.

Unfortunately climate change is the #2 topic right now. Bioengineering and Stem Cell Research are #6 and #4. Aging is way down the list. You can add a topic of interest as well. I put anti-aging research.

Maybe someone could write an e-mail to the guys running fightaging.org (should be one of the more popular blogs about life extension, right?), they might write a short article about the survey. Seems like an easy way for activism to promote life extension - or at least make people aware it exists.

I added longevity research too. It is an appropriate place to include it. BTW 2% is not so bad considering the distribution and number of items being considered.

Filled in, and also added Longevity Research as a suggestion.

Looks like a good opportunity for individuals to express priorities, here's how it looks currently:

Wow, I wonder if we impacted that bioengineering statistic. More promoting of this survey might help that statistic to grow into a contender for the top 5. Aging and stem cells I expected some from but not so much in bioengineering.
