Hi Everyone,
here is a quick FAQ on discounts we have at RevGenetics:
What discounts are available to full members?
Members receive a discount on P98 or P99 bulk resveratrol powder. This discount works for only P98 & P98 RevGenetics bulk resveratrol powder.
What constitutes a full imminst member?
A full member is a person that has provided a donation to this non-profit group by using this link: http://imminst.org/donate
After one becomes Full member, they receive a discount code by emailing revgenetics "imminst@revgenetics.com" and requesting a discount code.
What other discounts do you have for non-members and regular folks?
We provide a 5% discount to folks who use the code "immortal" in an attempt to help our friend and lifetime member called "TheFirstImmortal" that has been stricken with cancer. While you receive 5% off any of our RevGenetics products, we will donate 10% of the final purchase price to TFI's battle against cancer. This discount works for all RevGenetics products.
Do you provide any other discounts not mentioned so far?
We provide a 10% discount to people in the medical, and educational field including students. You can get a discount code by faxing us your work/school ID to this number, along with your email address: 866-430-3953. This discount works for all RevGenetics products, except P98 and P99.
Can I get a discount code by calling the RevGenetics 866 number?
No, you can only request these by email.
Are you associated with Imminst.org?
No, we simply buy the banner that you see in the resveratrol forum, and post frequently on these boards. I have the same posting privileges as a regular registered user.
Why are you providing a special discount to Imminst members and not to everyone?
I have visited this non-profit group for more than two years now. Posting about various things, but mainly information about resveratrol. While doing so I have realized that the folks in this forum aim to bring forward helpful knowledge on various topics. Many times, more so than the general news media or newspapers. Folks here do this by providing not only opinion but relevant studies to back up their opinion. This not only educates, but helps create the positive changes and helpful inquiries that you don't see in other places regarding health, technology, and longevity.
Because of this fact, RevGenetics is providing full members a simple discount on bulk P98 or P99 powder when we have it available.
I see that you are currently out of stock on P98 powder, when will you have it in stock again?
Lately we have seen a large increase in sales, and have run out. We are working to provide it, but do have 3-4 week delays because of this increase in demand. Add to the fact that prices have risen on resveratrol, and it starts to get complicated to meet demands for a product that does not provide an adequate profit.
In production (as as in many other things) you have the following 3 things to consider:
Time, Price and Quality
If you want a low price, you will need to sacrifice Time, or Quality
If you want a short time, you will need to sacrifice Quality, or Price
If you want the best quality, you will need to sacrifice Price, or Time.
At this point, I want to continue providing the discount to Imminst members, while maintaining high quality. Because of this, we will be sacrificing time and limit the quantities sold to each member, instead of letting single members buy up all our stock. We can only sell members 100 grams at the discounted price, and folks can expect to wait about 4 weeks for their product.
Why don't you buy alot of resveratrol, and sell it to the members?
We are a for-profit business, we are basically offering Members the same price that raw material folks provide manufacturers. We require a limit to the amount that is basically considered a loss-leader for our company, and we may stop this discount in the future due to price increases. As many know, we have been moving to micronized powder, and may stop this discount for regular non-micronized powder in the coming months, and substitute it for a discount on micronized powder.
Are there really price increases?
Don't take my word for it, ask Maxwatt. The high quality resveratrol producers have seen an increase in demand, and are now simply pricing the material accordingly. Again, while Oprah, Dr. Oz, Dr. Sinclair and Dr. Maroon have all made resveratrol popular, the producers are being squeezed and hiking up their prices. As such, you will see an increase in pricing from many folks in the next 4-5 months as the supply runs low.
The law of supply and demand is taking hold for this material.
