Hi, I am a 20 year old asian male and I think that I have low testosterone or hypogonadism,
I checked the symptoms using google and have trouble with errections and poor libido, but I have good health and average height. I think that my puberty was normal (very horny and lots of energy) until this year, its supposedly that in 20s the male body reaches its production peak but in my case I gained a lot of belly fat (no diet change, my metabolism slowed down) sometimes tired, and loss of libido. Maybe is my poor sleep cuz I recently got a job that leaves me with less than 6 hours of rest, and have little time to exercise... my diet seems fine, no junk food whatsoever, and eat a lot of healthy food. Obviously I need to go to a endocrinist but I want to ask if anybody here had any problems like mine, and if can offer me tips and recommend any good supplements. thanks in advance |

Although I do not have your problem, DHEA will raise testosterone.

A few grams of Ginger will raise testosterone in rats, and should be pretty safe.
http://www.imminst.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=33926 Let us know how it goes if you decide to try it. Also a few details about your diet would be good. |

I eat a healthy diet (lot of leafy vegatables, rice, organic food) but avoid milk even Im tolerant but I dislike it. And I found out that the water I drink everyday has a lot of minerals in it and my father had kidney stones last year, I heard that a lot of iron decreases testosterone, should I worry? What about ZMA? tribulus, or other herbs? do they work? |

Monounsaturated or Saturated fat can increase testosterone. Also decrease soy consumption, if you eat any. Eat some eggs! You might also be deficient in zinc if you're mostly vegetarian. Are you vegetarian ? However, I don't recommend ZMA, aspartate is not good for you. Just get Zinc and Magnesium supplements separately. You should test for blood ferritin levels to check your Iron status. If it's high perhaps you should take some IP6 to chelate Iron. However, it will likely chelate zinc too, so make sure you test your blood iron levels before supplementing. Also, Magnesium and Green Tea worked great for my uncle's kidney stones. These are the basics, someone else will have to help you with tribulus and the like. |
