Are Phentermine a nootropic ? |

Has anyone ever used Phentermine as a nootropic ? Phentermine under the brand name of Duromine is an appetite suppresant, with effect several times weaker than amphetamines. Nowadays, the manufacturer has altered immediate released Phentermine as an ion-exchanged resin, to prevent it from being abused. ( So to minimise it from being snorted or injected.) So, once it is ingested, the pro-drug Phentermine must react with electrolytes in our Gastrointestinal tract, such as Sodium/Potassium/Magnesium ions to form the active form of Phentermine to exert its effect. In moderate dose, it releases the neurotransmitter Noradrenaline, but in a higher dose, it releases also Dopamine and Serotonin, as well. In Australia, Phentermine has been modified as an ion-exchanged resin complex. ( It comes in a capsulated form with tiny beads inside, 15mg/30mg/40mg, taken once a day in the morning.) I tried it once in 1997, and all I got was tachycardia, loss of appetite, insomnia and headache. It was not as useful for study as Tenuate ( Diethylpropion HCl), as with Tenuate I could concentrate and focus better. Ritalin that I got from Indonesia was not even as strong as a cup of coffee........( could it be counterfeit ones....but I got it from a pharmacy) I've never tried Adderall as it is not available here. The strongest I've tried is Tenuate. Has anyone experienced with Phentermine/Ritalin/Tenuate? ( How do you compare the effects of each one of them ? ) |

It doesn't matter what phentermine is mate.... IF the stuff increased the size of my penis by large magnitudes and shot my iq to 180 I still would not touch the stuff......
All I know is: Phentermine-------> Pulmonary hypertension...... |
