Hi everyone,

my father (78) was diagnosed with Wegener's granulomatosis two year ago.
The disease has attacked mainly his nose (which was operated to remove the granulomatosis there).
Vital organs such as kidney and lungs are seemingly unaffected according to the clinical analysis, althoug he is barely able to walk due to general degradation of muscles and weakness.
Winters in particular are awful for his disease, each winter pases he worsens a lot.

He is on a convectional treatment of methotrexate and prednisone, which have quite big side effects, but seeminlgy there is not alternative to this.

I give him supplements of Omega3, Resveratrol and Zyflamend. However it's not enough, he gets worst each winter and does not recover later.
I push him to follow an anti-inflamatory diet, but I leave in other place and my mother is becoming too old to change habits.
Another problem is the high sugar level, which is a side effect of prednisone.

Anyone can suggest me supplements that could help with this autoimmnune disease and supplements to
decrease the sugar level of the blood?.

Thanks a lot. Santiago
