This may be old news to many but I thought it was worth bringing it to the attention of those that were not aware of this.

Thank you very much. I just placed an order after reading this. I've been in this anxiety/mild depression/stress kind of funk for a while. Magnesium has helped some as does upping my fish oil. Thanks for the suggestion.

I ordered some lithium oroate months ago (don't ask me why) but haven't touched it yet because I am somehow concerned about its safety.
Does it cause (or worsen) fatigue or brainfog?

I'm taking 20mg of lithium a day and it seems like it is just what I needed! My BP is down to normal, I'm much more mellow, and my mood is better. I feel much more even keeled. It feels like I had a lithium deficiency and this is correcting it.

You just needed something to help your brain deal with stress a little better. There is not lithium deficiency-it's not an essential nutrient, at least not essential at the dose your taking. That's great your having a positive response to it. I will be interested in seeing if this response continues. Hopefully it does.

Yeah, I know it's not essential I was making a joke.
I'll keep you all updated.

How long did it take to notice first improvements? Does it cause (or worsen) fatigue or brainfog?

I take 5-10mg lithium orotate, i think it helps but its difficult to say, i'd should try the aspartate and see how it compares, i don't know who sells it though.
Good to hear lithium is working well for you all. One needs blood tests with the carbonate, though maybe not at 300mg

Any meds or supps you shouldn't take with low dose lithium? OK to take other mind relaxing things like theanine... Also what about low dose beta blocker? (25mg atenolol)

Cheers, i'll check those out. I assume the carbonate would be a lot more beneficial/potent to the brain than other types? Not in high doses that is.

Don't think you have to worry about mixing a low dose of lithium with these.

Anxiety and mild depression is greatly helped by my lithium dosage. I'm not noticing any side effects at 20mg a day. Now the only time I really feel anxious is the first thing in the morning (presumably when my blood levels of lithium are the lowest). I seem to have crazy/stressful dreams a lot. Too bad I don't have lucid dreams every dream

Thanks for the info I am probably ready to try a bit. Probably won't go that dose at first. Did you/do you have any panic symptoms or above normal adrenaline responses? That's my main deal.

My symptoms were mostly generalized anxiety more than acute panic attacks. Low level but constant worrying even though I know worrying doesn't do any good.
