The Ideas Pool Catagories:
Ideas listed here should be dealing with the basic concept of indefinite life extension. Images can deal any areas of the technology, morality, or metaphorical.
Options to explore:
1. Predicting the future with art. Predicting both a magical future with a successful immortality outcome. Predicting a catastrophic and depressing future with the lack of success in immortality, the decline of humankind.
2. Metaphorical images. Battles with death. Using the grave as an outdated icon of a non-immortality. The link between humans immortality and the earth's immortality.
3. Why life extension isn't wrong: showing life is good, there are a lot things in life we can enjoy.
4. Pamphlet for Imminst needs pictures. If somebody here can add some original drawings to it then please do. It needs one for each page except for the front and back. Although, if you can think of a clever theme for the front and back then add those too. If you want, add non copy righted pictures off the net that fit, but preferably, draw them or photoshop them so they are more original if you can. Ill then introduce this pamphlet to the board for approval. It should pass. I used the wording out of the imminst "about" section and then added a few quotes and a persuasive peice. A component of the pamphlet is that we can make multiple versions by including different persuasive peices on the 4rth page there, and we can include different quotes too. We can make versions that cater to different crowds by modifying those. Also, this is just one example, its a more technical version of an imminst flyer. More versions can be made too. 1. the wizardry of death (concept). a menacing figure looming over the earth, and details of specific people making bad decisions to end their own life. 2. looking into the future mirror. we see the back of a figures head staring into a mirror to see himself/herself and while the surroundings look normal in the room, the surrounding in the mirror are things like time travel, space travel, new inventions, new creatures, alien species, new worlds etc.

Live art events: Canvas Kill Live: live painting with a twist (http://www.williamhessian.com/projects/canvaskiller.html) the first three art/immortality themed shows are tentatively scheduled for April 4th, 11th and 25th, 2009. 3-5 central time on ustream (more info to be announced upon approval). Themes will be: portrait of Aubrey de Grey, wizard of death and Ro-man - humans relation to technology and robots. Sculptures of future products (http://www.williamhessian.com/projects/mysteryproducts.html). Amazing inventions that do not yet exist... but should. Using unique or unusual images to spread the message, like creatures and monsters as stickers with word bubbles that say immortality. I also like the idea of just cutting thought bubbles or word bubbles with the word "immortality" or "live forever" or "we don't have to die" and sticking them on billboards, posters, advertisements all over the world, taking photos and posting them here.
