Recently Completed Projects

The following are projects that have been completed. A projects completion does not imply that there will be no further revisions, additions, or modifications of that project, as the Immortality Institute is always in a constant state of improving itself.

First Book Project

The first book by the Immortality Institute was published in 2004. It contains much information written by many of the scientists and other professionals in the various fields of aging related research. The book is available for free online.

Conference

The first conference by the Immortality Institute was held on November 5, 2005 in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. The conference speakers included many of the leaders in the various fields of preventative aging. Some of the videos from speakers at the conference can be watched (for free) on Google Videos.

The Immortality Institute film was completed and released in November of 2005. The film includes interviews with many of the top people in the life extension community. The film's purpose was to provide a scientific documentary that created a realistic impression of the modern pursuit of life extension. The film is availabe to be viewed (for free) at Google Videos.

Related to the above mentioned blog, an Immortality Institute podcast has been suggested, and options are currently being discussed.

VOIP Chat and Podcast

In addition to the already available chat (mentioned above) Voice Over IP chat (probably with Skype) has been proposed, in addition to recording it in .mp3 format to use as a Podcast.

Future Conferences

Future conferences for the Immortality Institute have been suggested, and steps have been taken towards their creation. The year 2006 is unlikely to see such a conference (however a smaller press conference and gathering is a possibility). Currently, 2007 is being mentioned as when another conference is likely.

Research at the Institute

Various thoughts on both research and offering classes online (possibly through online universities) has been proposed, and options are currently being considered.
